Fun At The County Fair

Every summer the Life Enrichment staff, together with volunteers, assists several residents to attend our local county fair. Adding to the excitement was the anticipation of finding out what ribbon they received, for those residents who had entered projects in the fair this year.   Huge smiles spread across faces, as residents saw their projects displayed in the exhibit hall.  Many purple ribbons were received by Brookestone of David City residents for their art, crochet, jewelry, and vegetables.  A special award was given to Lucille Poole’s corn mosaic that was patterned in a quilt design.
